The short version
- Booking a chat puts your name, email and note on my Google Calendar, and Google emails you the invite.
- Voice calls with the mascot are recorded and transcribed by ElevenLabs, and kept for 90 days.
- The “Prepare my email” form sends nothing. It opens your own email app.
- No ads, no ad trackers, no analytics. I don't sell your information.
- Email me to see or delete what I have about you.
Who runs this site
My AI Guy (www.myaiguy.us) and My AI Girl (www.myaigirl.us) are two versions of the same site. Both are run by me, Roded Konforty, an individual in San Jose, California. They share one calendar and one inbox, so this policy covers both. “I” and “me” below means Roded.
Booking a free intro chat
When you book through the form, the site sends my server:
- your name, your email, and the optional note you write;
- the time you picked;
- a bot-check token from Cloudflare Turnstile (see below);
- where your visit came from, if your browser saved it (see the next section).
My server checks the time is still free and creates an event on my Google Calendar with a Google Meet link. Google emails you the invite. The event holds your name, email, note and where your visit came from. To keep it to one upcoming chat per person, my server looks up whether your email address already has one booked.
If booking on the site isn't available, the button takes you to my Google Calendar booking page instead, where Google collects your details under its own privacy policy, or it opens an email to me.
Calendar events stay on my calendar until they're deleted. You can ask me to delete yours.
Where your visit came from
If you arrive from another website, or through a link with campaign tags (like utm_source, which I put on flyers and listings), your browser saves a small note: those tags, the other website's domain name (not the full address), the page you landed on, and the time.
It's saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and it stays on your device. Your browser only saves it if you allow it on the notice. If you say no, or you change your mind with the Cookies button, it's deleted. It's only sent to me if you book a chat, when it's written into the calendar event. It keeps your first and your latest visit from another site or a tagged link. The first one is replaced by the next such visit once it's more than 90 days old, and the latest one by each new such visit. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
Voice calls with the mascot
Calls are recorded. The whole call is recorded and transcribed, from the moment it connects until it ends. That includes anything said while the assistant is quietly waiting, for example while you talk to someone else in the room. Before anything is recorded, the call screen tells you the call is recorded and transcribed and that you'll be talking with an AI assistant, and the call only starts if you tap “Start call”. The assistant says it again in its first line. If anyone is with you, please let them know. If you don't want to be recorded, tap “Not now”: you can book a chat or email me instead.
Calls are optional. Clicking the mascot or the call bar only opens the call screen; the call starts when you tap “Start call”, and only then does your browser ask for microphone access if you haven't given it already. You can hang up any time with the red button or the Escape key. Calls end on their own after 4 minutes.
How a call works
- A Cloudflare Turnstile bot check runs, then my server gets a one-time call pass from ElevenLabs.
- Your browser loads the call software from this site and connects to ElevenLabs.
- ElevenLabs records your voice, turns it into text, and sends the conversation to Anthropic's Claude Haiku AI model, which writes the assistant's replies. ElevenLabs turns the replies into speech.
What's kept from a call
ElevenLabs keeps the recording and the transcript. After the call, ElevenLabs uses an AI model to write a short summary and pick out:
- what kind of business you run and the problem you want help with;
- how the call ended (for example, you'll book, or you'd like a call back) and your main hesitation, if any;
- whether you'd rather have it done for you or learn to do it, and whether you seemed frustrated;
- if you asked for a call back: the first name, phone number, good time to call and email you gave.
The recording, the transcript, the summary and the details above stay with ElevenLabs, where I can read them. Nothing from the call is stored on this site's own server.
I may listen to recordings and read transcripts to follow up with you and to improve the assistant. ElevenLabs is set to delete call recordings and transcripts after 90 days.
California recording notice
California law requires everyone's consent before a confidential conversation is recorded. The call screen asks for yours first: nothing is recorded, and your microphone isn't requested, until you tap “Start call” on the recording notice. The assistant repeats the notice in its first line, and you can hang up at any time.
The “Prepare my email” form
This form doesn't send anything to me or my server. It builds a message and opens it in your own email app. Nothing is sent until you press send there. If you do, it reaches my inbox like any other email, and I keep it as ordinary email.
Bot checks
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is booking or calling. It only loads when you reach the booking form or start a call. My server sends Cloudflare the check's token and your IP address to confirm it. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers what Turnstile collects.
Hosting and logs
Vercel hosts the site and runs its server code. Like any web host, Vercel logs requests, including details such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for.
The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
Cookies, analytics and ads
After you answer the notice, the site sets one cookie, cc_cookie, that remembers your answer for about six months. It doesn't identify you. The site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media trackers. I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it for advertising.
You can change your answer any time with the Cookies button at the bottom of the page.
When a page loads, Cloudflare (for the bot check) and Google (for the fonts) receive your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies. The site includes no third-party code that follows you across other websites.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. The site doesn't change what it does when it gets one, because it doesn't track you across other websites in the first place.
